Even though we're 100 miles from the Ocean, the tides completely affect our river levels and will cause swings of 3+ feet in water level over the course of 5 hours. So yesterday we got to the launch and the sand bar across the middle of the launch between the two docks was down to around a foot or 1.5' deep. So, launching from there was a no go.
Luckily it's only 10 to 15 minutes to get to another launch on the Portland side of the river. And even better, the wind speed and water traffic was so low, that I was able to slalom right down the main channel straight from the launch! (that almost never happens!)
Sure it was cloudy, but for water like this, I'll take it. Water temp is down to the low 60's.

My sons 3rd time wake surfing. Not to bad for a DD with a swell wake shaper. The wife even gave it a first try and seemed to enjoy it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5c18464a25.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4049be353b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dcaf7a41f5.jpg

Mid 80s in Portland with low wind = a crew of 11 for a warm weather blowout night!

Big crew = big Wake!

The best kind of crew! It's been the summer of the boat girls (and me).

And finish with a night surf.

That's a heck of a wave you've got there with 11 people!

Testing out the bargain bin Lakewakes WiFi board, but I lost a contact lens so I was looking for it [emoji854].
Very fast fun board for a good price!

Honestly, it was a little lacking for the crew we had on board. My reversible pump that would fill my 400 under the surf side seats and the 250 under the bow seat was totally unresponsive and we had to deal with 650 pounds less than normal. #boo
(Unless you're talking about the wakeboard wake, which was pretty fun with the 1180 and 10 people!)
Theyre both pretty impressive... wish I could get a big crew like that regularly.

Well, the '06 is off to Rinkers for the trade in. Hopefully my new (ish to me lol) SA will be ready to roll when I get back from this long a** trip!
Spent all last night pulling the W6's and amp and putting the custom factory box back in with a Memphis DVC and kicker 600.1
That's what we're going for! That and I wanna surf more... lol
