Went out on Table Rock all last week in Missouri, however we had pretty bad luck with the weather. Was cloudy and rainy most every day we were there until Saturday. Gotta represent skiing... don't see that enough anymore. This is my first recording of some free skiing with a crappy gopro knockoff (hence the lousy audio).
I don't get more than a half dozen runs in per season anymore, so I'm way out of shape and form, but still happy to get out there when the water is calm.

Watched a boat catch fire at the ramp on Sunday. They tried putting it out with several extinguishers but no dice. A friend of a friend did some heads up thinking and used his jetski to extinguish it.

It was a really clean Dixie I/O. The guy let me pass him in line to put in b/c he wanted a slip next to the dock since it was just he and his wife. My buddy and I commented abt how sweet that old Dixie was as we passed it in line. Shame

The same thing happened to my brother a couple years ago. He did not see it happen, he just saw that it really looked weird in the rear view mirror. He just assumed an oncoming car threw a rock. I do not know what it cost him to have it replaced.

My youngest son and I got some great surfing in on a Friday afternoon up in the North Woods.... with my twin older sons already back to college, our crew has shrunk so yes, that's my 75-year old Dad hanging off the back of the boat having a blast :)

Went to Lake Billy Chinook in Central Oregon to help out with a church's houseboat retreat. Had a blast and got some newbies up on wakeboard and wakesurf. We only had 3 boats to service 4 houseboats full of young adults. (my XLV, a Direct drive malibu response, and a big Maxim cuddy cabin I/O). Obviously the Maxim was on Tube duty. I actually wrote "No Tubing, boardsports only" on my signup sheet! And we had a blast. And I loved our floating barge with the boat slips. Such an awesome setup.

We actually setup a "bed" in the boat. a 13" tall twin sized air matteress fits perfectly in the opening of the floor space on my XLV. A portable inverter and the built in inflator worked fine. put the snap cover on and had our own little "tent" with a king sized bed underneath. It was pretty cool.

Spent the weekend riding my new Liquid Force Super tramp. Really liking this board. Also creates some fun word play...who doesn't love some tramp action?
