Back in high school when I had my Malibu (don't hate) I hit many a tire, but the weirdest one was a washing machine. It was floating just below the surface, it was 6pm, driving into the sun. Didn't see it til it went under the nose, wtf?!? Lol

On a separate note, who all is gonna have an A-Link out there on Sunday. I'm picking up my new 410 and amp tomorrow, thinking about grabbing one

And if anyone would like to come up to Conroe and help me pull new wire through the tower, I'll provide the beer. Lol

We have an A link, the millers have an a link, the Sandoval's have an a link and think there are a few more. We should be able to link up well.

Yes I am... that amp is bigger than I was planning on. I'm having to rework most of the wiring.

That's what I'm hoping for!
I'm off to go find a new sub box and buy some new 4 gauge. I burned up a lot of my supplies on my buddy Justin's boat. I'm tired of the subs being in the dog house. I really want to move then under the wheel. I'm having a hard time finding a box that will fit.

We custom built ours, not sure how much time you have to dedicate to it though.

I borrowed a box from a buddy who does installs with me. It doesn't fit. Fml. 1.5" too wide or tall depending on which way it sits.
I may just have to build one. But it's gonna be tricky hitting 1.3cu sealed for 2 10W6v3 and not have the box blow apart.

Use wood glue and screws with 1" thick MDF and you should be ok I would think you can also have corner bracing as well

Well, I found a box. Best Buy of all places. Dual 10" sealed, but the airspace is way too much for W6's. They had some crazy excursion but no sound output. I tried to take up some internal space with 2x4 slices, but that got sketchy quick. Plus the W6's just really seem to like a ported box, so I'm back to the original box but I wedged it under the helm while I had the driver seat out fixing the carriage bolts underneath. It's not permanent, feel free to point and laugh at the Jam. Lol
If anyone needs some subs and boxes, all this stuff is going up for sale as soon as this post is done. I'm gonna go a different route.

Hate to be the one to bring it up, but the pilot/weatherman in me can't not look... any weather contingency plan? It's supposed to get crappy Wednesday up in Dallas and here, and stay that way for 1.5 weeks.

If it rains we party in the rain, there is a bridge to seek refuge under and the pavilion. Can't help the weather, just have to make the best of it and hopefully come away with some awesome stories and memories
