I'll vouch for that; the 300 foot walk from the hotel to our office was like 100 at 8am!

The start, the spin and the face plant (got that part perfected) must be attempt 40 always seem to put to much on my toes.

Picked up the new boat Friday. Got some surfing in before weather got sketchy. Very very pleased with the surf and wakeboard wakes.

He now gets up on the surfboard as easily and confidently as I do. And has great freeride sessions. Kids learn so fast.

I recognize that boat Russell...I bought his brother 3 weeks ago from the Slalom Shop. I was torn between yours and the one that I ended up with.
Great looking boat!

What a wonderful weekend and another trip to Lake Powell in the books. Besides my white one I got a lot of people that came up to talk about the boat. Even went through a BUI check point and the officers love the boat. They did ask about any exterior lights being blue and long story short their a magnet for the water cops to come and safety check you. Even the underwater lights underway they will stop you since law is only NAV and anchor light and gives them a reason to safety check you. Still posting here, passed with flying colors since pulling the craz up and tying off myself while having 9 people in the boat. Water cop says "WOW, that was impressive!"

When your sons riding like A BOSS and a guy who used to own a wake boarding school pulls up to your dock and asked if he can ride with your 9 yr old son!

Saturday evening did not disappoint. We cruised a couple miles north of on on Lanier, found a huge section closed off by multiple coves and nothing but glassy water.
Did some swimming, let Oso fetch and then surfed our way home.
Id like to say we shut the lake down as we got home at 915 and it was completely dark but there were lots of boats still cruising in the dark lol.
I will say next time I will head home a little earlier as I took a right when I should have went left and ended up using Google Maps to find my way through all the fingers home lol.
Might be a good choice to only go exploring on a full tank, we left with what read as a 1/2 and were on empty as we got home.
Still an epic first late night on Lanier.

Wow! Beautiful place. Had to Google it.
Got a couple pics from Friday. I probably shouldn't show these to my foot doctor, he wouldn't approve. But what a blast. Finally getting some air this season.

Not a good August here. This is what 9" of rain in two days does to our lake. It went up almost three feet and is still rising. What makes things worse is that the only outlet is partially blocked because of bridge work. No boating for a little while.

Not the best shot but I wanted to show off the runway option for Moomba trailers. Not a need option but they are damn nice at dusk and sundown.

Got any daytime shots of it looking down the trailer rail?
Crap! Would have been a good shot with the boat off the trailer when I picked it up. I've tried with the boat on but can't get any decent shots.Quote:

Um, easy enough. the boat is off the trailer every time you launch it, LOL. But it does look like they are more like a staggered "runway" instead of my strip lights that look almost like solid lines when approaching the trailer at night underwater.
This is on my old boat's trailer, but I did the exact same install on my XLV trailer.

Yes these are individual sealed lights placed every 3' along the rail of the trailer.Quote:

This looks like it could be a pretty quick and easy add. These flush mount bolts could be used, the stainless ones are very nice. Instead of threading them in it would be a bit quicker to treat it like a thru hull on a boat...snug fit in the hole and silicone it in!

Here's my writeup from when I did it on my Supra. I did the exact same thing on my XLV's boatmate trailer.
