Certainly has the desert feel. The lake is much smaller but we had the lake to ourselves almost all day. The only rollers we had to avoid were our own.Quote:

Aside from all the smiles it was a painful night.
-New surfboard arrived too late to bring along
-Lost wb binding insert
-Expecting 6 on boat, ended up with a crowd of 10
-Broken winch strap at launch
-Trashed 'just installed' new LED lights - falling off
-Broken gas strut on rear compartment
-Bent the #$%! out of a surf rack on the tower after snagging it on the gate backing up in the dark at home.
One of those nights...
In a week you will laugh most of it off, been there with the rope. Last time the water was so dirty we had to use the feel and pray method.Quote:
