Wow, can't believe I didn't see this post sooner. Concerns me........I'm going to check my boat tomorrow. I'll let you all know what mine has.

Mine has metal backing plates on all 6 mounts!!!!! No thick fiberglass used. Hmmmm, why so much variation??
