I don’t think the 1.5 trans has any different prop shaft angle or length than the 1.76 trans.
The newer Supra 400/450’s have used 16” props with plenty of hull clearance for a few years.

That is interesting. I wonder why it wasn't until Moombas went to the 1.76 that they went with a 15.5" diameter prop. I know in 2019 they all had 15" diameter props with the 1.5 but if you ordered the 450 it came with the 1.76 trans and a 15.5" (at least on the Makai). When did Supra make the jump to a 16" if it wasn't in correlation with the change to the 1.76?
I believe Supras moved to the 16” prop in direct correlation to the 1.76 trans. I think the 575 stuck with the 15” for awhile.
But the prop clearance is there, I think a 16.5” would probably fit.
For some reason, there is less prop clearance on the Moombas.

Ya IIRC the 575 just went to the 1.7 trans this year. I wonder why SC didn't run 16" props stock back then if they had the clearance. I guess the only reason the Supras are able to run the 16" and the Moomba can't has to do with the hull design around the prop.
I am going to order the 16x13.9 prop and see how it runs on my 2018 575 with the 1.5 tranny.
Should I be concerned for any gelcoat burn is the question?
