Dayum!! Was that your anchor or was it a floating rope? Nasty!
When my wife and I first started dating I took her out on the WaveRunners. She had the big three seater and I had the tiny Wave Blaster 1. It is hard to keep that upright without moving as it just wants to flip. We were coming in where there was a brand new aluminum dock at a public ramp. I was doing some circles to stay upright. When my back was turned I heard the loudest something hitting metal noise. Sound waves just went up and down the dock. I turned around and she had the ski wedged under the dock. I have no clue how she did it. I learned early on not to get mad and I didn't say a word.
It is a good thing I learned early on because she crashed our boat into a dock as a decent velocity before it was even ours. She has gotten a lot better, docking like a champ, picking up riders with full ballast and learned to back the trailer. She still can't control that damn ski though LOL.
Smart man!
Mine, had it down started the engine and was making idle adjustments we were getting ready to go in and forgot to pull her up. When I realized it was down still I stopped, hit reverse and heard a thud. Dove in to take a look and was shocked at what i saw. Lucky it was only a small hole, i keep the anchor hung in my garage as a reminder.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d6fdc745e5.jpg

I could see me doing something like that. glad it wasn't too bad.
I do the same thing, hang it on the garage wall as a reminder. I have a pipe with a nail through it, various medical staples from various accidents, photo of bent prop, piece of wood that was lodged in my thumb, and more. It's my wall of shame.
