Thanks, question...how closely do you have to scrape the old glue off. We have spent a lot of time getting the old glue off, and it is pretty much down flat to the surface, but it will be impossible to get all of it off.

Removed carpet and scraped glue off today. Where did you start laying down they hydro-turf? Assume stern to bow? Any tricks you can share about matching the pattern up?
Yes bow to stern. I found a thread on here where they removed all of the internal brackets and used a small jack to separate the hull. You have to be very careful and just get enough space to press the turf in the gap. Leave the turf pieces long and align seams then trim the excess afterwards
Here’s my 2008 LSV which I recently completed. I’d probably make a few different seam choices if I did it again but I’m pretty happy so far. About 3 weekends of work but one of those was making Mylar templates of the whole floor which I really didn’t need to do. A few small templates are helpful just to help out with radius’s and the driver’s floor.

I have 1 seem near the locker. You can cut the panel for the hoses, but it's not needed. For pre 06 years you can cover the entire floor with one sheet by removing the floor. For 06 and later you need 2 sheets, trim and tuck the excess hydroturf under the black trim. I use painters tape to make templates for the forward area, then cut.
My boat does not have the black trim around the floor. How is it attached? Is it a solid piece? Is it a flap?
I'm tired of getting stuff jammed in between the seat bases and carpet!
