You hit it on the head, the slope is the issue. Digging into the slope and putting up a crosstie retaining wall so we can have a 20X20 area for a trampoline. Aiden ( our 8yo son) convinced Jacob( his 4yo brother) that we needed to ask Santa for a trampoline.Quote:

we have a sunken tramp in the back yard and it is great. I would not go back to above ground. Kids will love it.

Did try my hand at surfing, didn't manage to get up yet (real beginner, too old and too heavy probably) but I'm sure my arms are about an inch longer after many attempts! Kids of course got up first go ever....
