Good morning everyone!
This is from the cottage - water starts at about 5' deep, and in the far frame of the picture goes to about 8'. Torch Lake is one of the clearest lakes in the country I think.

Yep, those are fish.
Only problem I have with our clear water is I can always see the fish, but can never catch the damn thing!
You're right about folks in Texas not wanting to see whats swimming below them!! Gars are not pretty fish to look at and most of the lakes in north texas have those nasty looking fish
Dang Ian... great shot... tons o fish! Yes, we have gar, and God knows what else. We were hanging out in about 4 foot of water this past weekend... kept hoping I didn't end up stepping on a decomposed hand or something. We lose about 3 people a week on Lake Lewisville.
