Any day now! The weather here is up and down, but mostly in the high 70's. Water is still not quite warm enough yet for our taste though. You have to remember, we are in the south and are somewhat allergic to cold water! LOL! Water temperature at the lake is still in the mid 50 range

You are right, I am reminded of that when I had some friends from south Texas come up to Canada last year in late August…. They really didn’t jump into the lake, even though it was almost at it’s warmest and with triple digit air temps!Quote:

65 degrees yesterday and 5 inches of snow today, Ugh!
Got the first surf of the season in last week here in Houston. Kids braved the tube but wouldn't commit to board sports yet and wife wouldn't even step onto the swim platform.
Water was ~60 deg and air was ~75 deg... was nice and toasty in my 3/2 wetsuit lol
