From Drew:
The 2025 SA is officially released! I'll include some photos below along with the major updates to this beast.
This is the Gen 4 SA so it is complete redesign. The boat gained about 350 lbs. in dry weight in addition to 600 lbs. more ballast. So, basically 1000 lbs. extra weight. It is a MONSTER and frankly, doesn't need extra weight, in our experience.
NEW Features on the SA
- Built-in Rear Loungers WITH Surf Locker
- Built-in rear armrests in corner seats
- Power Bimini Option
- Updated Bow and Cockpit Design
- Cooled Seating Option (Helm and OB)
- Fully Touchscreen Passenger Screen (with RGB control)
- Integrated Bow Anchor Storage
- Edgeforce Board Racks (better for foils)
- Side-Entry In-Floor Cooler
- Chili Pepper, Lava Flake, and new White Gels
Check out the website for more info or contact your local dealer! Builder is coming soon!

They should have focused more on other things. I can’t stand how the speakers look and the interior lighting is equivalent to some 10$ Amazon strip lights. I’d take my 2020 or 2022 sl over my current 2024 any day and save 100k in the process
I'll trade you a 2021 Makai for it! Love the colors!

What other things did you want to see changed?
I like the transom seats, did you lose a little bit of space in the rear storage?
The prices on these boats are insane though. I love my Supra but it would be hard to buy a new Supra over a slightly used or last year dealer holdover. I priced used G23 on onlyonboards and I would probably take a near new G23 over an SA considering here were some in the 199-215 range. The new SA is pretty neat with some cool options.
Like the transom seats, but also see the trade off on lost storage. But they look comfy compared to flip up seats at anchor. But walk through looks easier too.
Anchor storage is neat, but should be a box anchor vs a fluke.
SA no longer fits in a 8 foot door garage. I will be honest this is a significant miss. When I was shopping wakeboats for the first time in 2018, Supra was the only 8 foot door boats and was a huge factor in my choice.
The boat is 3" taller and the trailer adds height too due to heavier axles.
Extra mass on all 25's is awesome, added fiberglass all around. Lead bag makers will be losing business. But the SA will be pushing the tow limits of a 1/2 ton truck.
Not sure the infloor cooler hinge is better? I just see someone running into or leaning on that long "lever arm" of a door and damaging the hinge/fiberglass. If we are going all out, a power cooler lift would be baller, I think premier pontoon boats use a cooler lift.

Each year the boats get heavier and heavier. Yes, the trans ratio and the prop are the big factors, but when does the Raptor 400 become the issue @ 355hp and 404#s of torque?
It's a 22'.5" boat that is pushing appx 11k (boat/ballast/gas - 6450/4100/402) down the lake before you add crew & other misc. Yes, the Average Joe will never need full ballast wakeboarding. But for surfing there will be enough people that want to put full ballast and a boat full of passengers. Plus, I know a lot of peeps that carry the extra 300-500# of lead to move around to get the right angles.
I'm not an engineer, but it must be getting close to the tipping-point of not enough motor based on the trans package.
I might be wrong, but I did not hear about any changes to the bottom running surface vs 2024.
@larry_arizona I agree about the box anchor over fluke but I'd really like integrated Talons on a wakeboat.

Agree - I like the new sides. I heard a rumor the SA might be getting a little longer. Thought the hull might change a little, but engineering probably does not want to mess with a good thing.
That’s why they are called rumors.

Lounge and sun pads are becoming a thing of the past. Think I'd rather have the regular flip up seats. Where do kids jump off the boat? lol
