Here’s the reply. Great news either way. He’s going to check freight rate for me to compare. I’m wondering if I can basically have their usps shipping costs applied to the freight and see what the difference is.

I told them in my original email that I’d help pass along whatever info they gave back to the forum community.
Much better communication than last time, and I’m glad I placed a new order and reached out.
Thanks for the team work fellas.

Wake life bags delivered!

All of them? No way, that is great. My bonus bags shipped on January 8th, still haven't got one, lol.

I haven’t confirmed yet. I ship everything to the business but one of my staff called and said I had a bunch of heavy boxes delivered. So I’m assuming it was all of them, the tracking says delivered. I’ll head in and find out shortly. I’ll let you guys know.

All 10 indeed!

I ordered 350 pounds from wake life. Then the two days later I added one more bag on a second separate order. Both orders were processed and picked up by USPS in days as priority mail and I received tracking numbers
That was on Feb 22. It's now April and I haven't seen any of the initial 7 bags. The separate order of a single bag was delivered after about a month, but no sign of the initial order of 350 pounds.
Any Suggestions?

I'd just send a polite email to Wakelife and they will file a claim with USPS, hopefully that will nudge things along. This has been my experience on many packages this year with USPS and not just heavy packages.

I can't imagine how much this happens to them.
Someone was just posting on social media about ordering 500#s,
It was shipped that week,
Buyer got a conf #,
Been sitting in some postal office not moving anywhere for the last 30 days.

same thing happened to me when I ordered my last round. showed tracking numbers in a few days and took many weeks to get from LA to LV. only 4hrs by car.
When I got my order, two of the priority mail boxes were ripped so bad from handling that I’m surprised they were delivered.
The reason for non-delivery may be a result of the packaging being damaged.
It’s an interesting play of gamesmanship using flat rate boxes for freight level weight.

Wakelife has a pretty good deal going on right now with a coupon code on their website. I can get 1000 pounds delivered LTL (freight, not USPS) for $918.00. They are doing LTL at USPS pricing when you order 20 bags, at least to my area (Salt Lake City). If I order tomorrow it will deliver by Monday. I don't really want 1000 pounds, but I figure I could pawn off 500 pretty easy and lot loose much, if anything and not have to worry about usps.
So, you guys with wakelife bags, are you still happy with them? Quality wise, how do they compare to Leadwake? My dealer has leadwake for $68 per bag, so this is a good bit of savings.
Anyone around SLC want 500 pounds?
How much you want for that 500 lbs?
Not looking to make any money. So 918/20 is $46 per bag.
We have been super happy with the quality of the WL bags! Seems like super durable material that feels like it will last for along time.
Still waiting on mine to show up. They left the local post office 2 weeks ago but nothing since then. Original date for delivery was May 1. I contacted Wakelife and they said they talked to USPS and they "found" my packages but no update on the tracking yet. For those of you who contacted USPS, which number did you call?
Call in and ask for Spencer, he helped me with my order and it seemed like he actually cared unlike most customer service these days. He went above and beyond to make sure I received my last two bags that were lost in the USPS world.
Thanks BBscott. I spoke to him over email and he was very helpful. Just nothing happening on the USPS side unfortunately.
I haven't seen or used any of the other brands, but I don't have any complaints with the quality of my bag from Wakelife. They seem very durable to me. I ordered them mid-summer last year and didn't have any issues with USPS shipping either. Came home from work a week or so after ordering and there were 10 flat-rate boxes stacked against my garage.
I ended up with some of both leadwake and wakelife but haven’t had them very long, just purchased for this season. Both are good quality with a slight edge to leadwake but if wakelife was less I’d go with them. I had delivery delays with both. My 0.02

Just placed an order for 20 Wakelife bags. $918 and free freight shipping sounds like a great deal. In theory they should ship today and be delivered on Saturday or Monday to my business. I'll report back and let you all know how it goes. Now I just need to figure out what to do with 1000 pounds of lead.
UNSTUCK I had the same hopes when I ordered mine on 4/28 with a delivery date of 5/1 but I am still waiting. I talked to Spencer again this morning and he was very apologetic. He mentioned that they are having a very hard time with USPS right now and many orders. I understand there is not much they can do once the boxes are dropped off at the USPS. It is just frustrating that we are about 2 weeks from the original delivery date and nothing. Tracking still shows that it departed the Cicero, IN post office but hasn't hit a distribution center or hub yet.
The difference is I'm not using USPS. I'm using freight. 1000 pounds on a pallet with a forklift is an everyday thing for these guys. I'm not asking a mail man to stack 20 boxes on my door step. Sure, I purchased more than I need in order to do that, but I have no doubt I'll be able to sell off what I don't need at my cost to someone local that just needs to come to my house to pick them up.
Time will tell I guess. If I don't have them in a week we'll know its not only a USPS issue.
Gotcha. I missed you were using freight. Good luck!
I got 6 out of 10 bags yesterday. Just need the other 4 to get here. Bags are well made and Wafelife was very responsive and helpful.
I tried the freight thing with them. It is NOT cost effective.
My bags showed up in only a few days.
Be patient

Tracking puts my bags in here tomorrow. The freight will all depend on your location. USPS flat rate boxes were going to cost him like $275 I think he said. He asked me to pay the difference the freight would cost. Then he got a quote for $290 and offered just to cover it all since it was so close to USPS. So 20 bags for $918 doesn't get much more cost effective. I'm not sure where they are located, but these are shipping to Utah. I'll report back once they arrive, but so far I'm very hopeful and have had no issues dealing with this company.
@unstuck where are you located. I’m in Nashville and could
Use a few extra bags if your selling some you don’t need in the near future.
I'm in Utah. You'll have better luck getting USPS to send it from Wakelife. Looks like they are in IL.
Getting my last 4 bags today! Took almost a month for all 10 to get here.
If they are vinyl I bet they fall apart within 1 season. The nice thing about the bags is that they are easily moved from one place to the other . I have the lead wake bags and they are super tough, used them all last season and this season so far and they are like new despite being constantly moved. Shipping did take a while though and they never come at once - a few one day, a few a week or two later and so on...
Bags came in today. Well actually they arrived in SLC on Friday and sat in a trailer “out for delivery” until today when I actually was able to talk to someone and got them put in will call. So I went and picked them up.
At first glance they are very nice. I would say as good as Leadwakes. This bag actually feels a bit looser which I like. I feel that it will conform better to corners and such better than the stiffer Leadwake bags. Glad I have a forklift at my house!

Just put another order in for 500#s. Should have just ordered 1k the first time around and did freight but here we are. On the USPS shipping roller coaster again.
Do you have any of these left? Considering getting some lead now...
I am in SLC. My brother in law just moved from Reno, so bad timing...
For the right price I could meet you in Battle Mountain. That’s a halfway point. Or if you want to look at freight I can load it on a pallet for pick-up and delivery.
