very nice stuff
A little fun on lake Gaston. Fiancé and I both getting familiar with new boards. That doomswell is a totally different ride than my phase5! Not sure which I like better...

When the SE is carrying 5110# at full tilt, all it takes is 50/50/50% fill to make a perfect small adult/kid wave. Boat purrs along and sips fuel, and anybody under 140# can surf their face off as far back as makes sense to them. To be 100# again would be fun—for a day or two anyway.
The big boy wave takes all she has, but it’s quite the riot. This is one good-ass boat.

Got out with just the boys on Sat. River was a little muddy from all the rain and the current was a little fast but overall not too bad. Some debris in the water. Stopped on a beach for a few minutes and I grabbed one pic.

My oldest daughter bringing us back to the ramp, one of my twins wanted to 'drive' while idling to the dock, and rolling in to dinner after a long day. Good time on Grapevine yesterday even with the rough water!

Good for you-- and her! My two oldest (both girls) have been my drivers for 10 years. Need to get my boys up to speed. Heh heh.

My buddy brought his drone out on Sunday. Didn’t get any surf footage this time, but I really like this photo
It’s this liquid force bimini bag

Need some more pictures of the Liquid Force Bimini Bag...it is hard to find video's or reviews of it online.
How does it work, how do you like it?
Just a few pictures from Lake Powell last week. Weather was mid 90s and water about 70. Perfect conditions.
Just took delivery of this bad boy!

It’s basically a double board bag (2 pockets with reflective material on top) that folds in the middle and has an adjustable strap on each corner to attach it to the bimini frame. It also has straps on top of each pocket to attach another board (for a total of 4 boards).
I found it when searching for premade surf pockets to add to the Max’s bimini since they aren’t a factory option. It works really well for the price, it’s nice to be able to fold it up and put all your boards in the back of the truck at the end of the day.
Only 2 issues I’ve noticed: there is a non adjustable front strap for the boards that go on top of the pockets. At cruising speed this would start “buzzing” from flapping/vibrating against the board, but only does it depending on the board combo in the pocket vs on top of pocket and a certain speeds.
The other issue is that the fins on my doomswell make it a little thick to go in the surf pocket to keep it out of the sun. I can force it, but the fabric material with a drawstring is starting to tear a bit.
I’ll update with some pics in a day or two.
Can you put a "twist" in that strap like you do for bimini straps that buzz?
No because this front strap is fixed, no buckle or adjuster. There are 2 adjustable board straps further back on the bag.
A pic from the top:

Maybe you can twist something around it to create the same effect.
Lake Berryessa and Lake Tahoe mostly!
Drove for some shop employees today and the MAX was throwing down. So ready to see what’s in store for 2019.

The hammerhead is awesome but so slick! I just need more time on it.
I only get 1 session each time out with all the kids wanting to raft and swim.
Can't wait for more time!
Pretty dang nice wave for a 2007 am I right? :)
The job of the HH is to throw you off. You will get used to it and you will enjoy it. Keeping those edges in rather than totally flat really helps. Try some large sweeping turns to begin with and you will get the hang of it. Think of it as a sports car rather than a cruiser. It likes the action.
Yes we can get some nice waves out of these older boats!
Got my son up on a surf board for the first time yesterday. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ce8aa8d663.jpg
