That doesn't sound to bad at all , will definitely be worth it.

Very nice! Impressive work.
Got the quick release pin conversion done, super easy to remove struts then tray , box anchor and bumpers with lots of room to spare , super stoked. And got the swivels on racks , was a good day for modshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b8a2b3d1c5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...049fcdfadd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1af8f9cf8b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8cae38f743.jpg

I unscrewed the plastic end off the strut and went to the hardware store and got a rod end to screw on instead , the factory struts had metric threads so I did swap those with a set of struts from Napa then machined a mount for the quick release pin to go in , utilizing factory holes and hardwarehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7296e1b97c.jpg

It looks like There is still a ton of space available in the tray too.

There is for sure , that stuff only took up barely over half the space.
No joke, I have been trying to find one of the Malibu or Axis trays that would fit my 2018 Craz with no luck. I didn't think about checking with a local fab shop because I was hoping to get it made from plastic. Have you been out on the water all day yet with it? I am curious if the tray gets hot at all. SC definitely needs to add this upgrade. Good work!
Got out for one day and the tray was well worth the time. It didnt get hot by any means.

"Cool" feedback.....anyone else move forward with a fab / design? My buddy drew one up after he and I took tape to my Mojo but I don't think he has ever heard back from his fab shop because their workload on large orders.
This is coming back to the top of my list after putting bigger bags int he boat and loosing ALL storage, LOL. June will be the month!
How do you do this? Do you have pictures? I need to know because the dealer broke the ball joint when winterizing and one strut just hangs there. The little clip that snaps in to hold the ball joint together doesn't hold. Of course the dealer will take no responsibility.
