It’s just over two weeks out. Roll call! The Langston’s are ready to rock and roll. We even have a couple newbs coming with us this year in my sister and nephew driving in from San Antonio. We’re coming in from Katy on the west side of Houston and will be there Thursday afternoon. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d7547d094d.jpg

Me and my crew will be in Friday morning from Crosby which is on the east side of Houston. I’ll have 10 people on my boat this year.

Me and half my crew will be there Friday by late morning, the rest coming early Saturday...we should be 8 deep.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7237b876c1.jpg

I was just given word this morning that my vacation was taken away. We’re out this year. I’ll be in Dallas from the 1-7. Linz May ride out for a day with the Rinkers guys to pick up our shirts.
Needless to say, it’s not been a good day.
We’ll be there at some point Thursday, depending on if I take a whole or half day off. Coming from north DFW
Change of plans already! School date got moved. Dunno why, but I’m not asking questions! The Blacks are back in! Won’t be there til Saturday morning though. I may drive up Friday night and hang out with everyone if there’s anything going on.

Looks like a miracle may be headed our way to help keep the cut passable

Hopefully it’s just a nice little soaking rain so the river doesn’t get trashed!
I was on the river this weekend (Saturday). Randall at Bethy Creek said they've lost quite a few inches of water in the creek over the past few weeks, so be careful thru the cut.
You HAVE to go thru the cut fully on plane at this point until you get past the slider. We did it (as we have before) and had no problems in our completely unloaded Craz w/all passengers in the bow (just in case). If this sketches you out, make plans to launch at the bridge. I don't think the above mentioned rain will be enough to correct it, but i hope i'm wrong.
David, it might be advisable to get w/Rinkers and/or any officials for this event w/wave runners to help direct traffic thru the cut. could get quite dangerous w/multiple boats heading in and out at 30+ mph thru one lane.
We were planning on coming up on Saturday, but won't be able to make it b/c i dinged my prop up dropping Cole off at the bridge. (wasn't paying attention and drifted into the concrete ramp). took just enough damage to cause a vibration i'm not comfortable with. SUX! (unless someone has a spare surf prop and puller they want to let me borrow?)
OJ 945 15x13
I’ll check when I get home but I think my spare is 15x12. That u can borrow if need b. I also have a prop puller

If u get the prop in today they can probably have it back to u by Friday

I have a spare OJ 14.25 x 14.5 or something like that and a puller as well.
Don’t think I’m brave enough to go through on plain however, we may just try to load the front with people
And if we start dragging too much we just hop out and push it. You brace folks keep on doing it though. I imagine going through on plain moves a lot of dirt out of there lol.

Does our wakemakers discount apply to props? i may just order one and have it shipped to the house. If so, can someone pm me the code?
I'm going to do what I can to make it. Cole's gonna set me a replacement prop aside and i'll either pick it up from Rinkers or at the jam.
But regardless, y'all be careful getting thru the cut if you choose to go that route. Look way ahead for oncoming traffic before you enter the zone on plane.

Hopefully this will help with the cut being low.

Haha yah I just saw that. If nothing else it shouldn’t get any worse

Looks like some areas around the lake got up to 5” today. Maybe that, combined with the run off will raise the level just enough.

Sounds like the water level should be good after that storm today! We got 5 inches in Conroe in a couple hours today!
I've had seen the 2019 SE that is coming to the Jam...its a bad biatch!!! And it is not red so I know Dusty won't be buying it.
