Sorry. I only have a couple of pics but I will get more for you. These are with only stock ballast and not at all dialed in.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...50a860fa6e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...edbf42b8ce.jpg
Here is the wakeboard wake around 20mph. It cleans up easy even at low speeds.

Added some LEDs in the side cupholders. Have about 7 others to wire up. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7f8e32e21e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...de3509f8af.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d125c35b4d.jpg

Lights look great! I'm so excited to see the wakeboard wake with a dumped MAX.
Some cheap usb rechargeable motion activated closet lights. Should work OK as they are mounted away from water exposure.

Thanks! I'm gonna pick some up....I really dig the one in the observation compartment!
Sounds pretty easy to remove and recharge.
How long do you think hey will last between recharges?
I assume the light will not be ON that much.

Time to update the signature bro!
Russ, now that you've had a chance to play with the surf wave, what are your impressions compared to what you'd been used to on the XLV?
I have not spent enough time to give the surf wave a full and fair comparison. I was running only the factory ballast plus a little lead. This produces a good clean wave with the surf tabs. Comparing stock XLV to stock Max is not even fair. The Max’s stock wave is in a different league. But I was not running anywhere close to stock in the XLV for many years and was able to get a good strong, long wave but it was never 100% consistent and needed about 4500lbs of ballast and lead to come alive.
I’ll be adding additional ballast bags this weekend and I’ll report back. Should have about 5400 lbs of lead and ballast bags to play around with.

I had really good luck with 4500 and a home made suckgate in the XLV. I think you tend to have a larger crew and would guess that your wave is much better with 5-8 people in the boat compared to 2. I was always disappointed when I decided to not fill the last 650lb (would not fill entirely) bag that I would place on top of the playpen 1180 bag.
