His boat is actually an LSV. I do have some green leftovers, but I've decided to do this boat with RGB, which arrived last week. WooWoo!
Here we go again!!!!!!!!!
Another package arrived today;

always fun getting the UPS guy to drop boat stuff off. I had a whole pile of items to install long before I had the boat to install them in.
RGB LEDs in the XM9s - gotta find someone to repaint them, along with color match the lime...

Allright. That's pretty darn cool. Wish we could night boat around here.
The ZLD has blue LEDs, which would have been fine on my last boat, but it kept bugging me that on the '13 the blue would be out of place, so I pulled the ZLD apart and put the same 5050 RGBs inside. The OEM blue LEDs are pretty dim, so I just left them connected through the board. The RGBs have their own wires out the back and will run to the controller with the rest of the LEDs on the boat.

Super easy mod and I think will add unique attention to detail points.
Shazam! Bling bling bling. Very nice.

Awesome job bud! It is coming along nice.
It's looking like Friday is the day it will arrive in Mi!
Whooo hooo!
Get them pics up. We're all salivating.
At the dealer!

Nice man nice.
unwrap it!
Well, if I leave it at the dealer it will stay wrapped till spring, because they don't have an indoor spot for it. If I take it home I'll unwrap it after the 250 mile drive home. Haven't decided what I want to do yet. I'm in the area until Sunday, so ive got time to think. I did write the big check though, lol
May I ask what dealer you went through?
Club Royale, in Waterford Mi
Who can gues what Ian decided to do?

Can't wait to see it unwrapped. Man, looking at the ground in that picture and not sure I would want to pull a new boat in that snow. We completely shut down when we have snow here and we #*@& sure don't pull our boats in it.
My guess is that he took it home unless travel was an issue.
I pulled it home, 250+ miles with the last 100 or so being all ice. I made it to our subdivision, and...
...then it happened...
....driving up a hill to get into our neighborhood....
...I hit a total ice slick, stopped moving forward, started sliding backward down the hill, no brakes, no gas, no steering...
....then it happened....

Not too bad, trailer and wake plate took the bulk of the damage as the boat pushed about 5" forward on the trailer and broke the weld on the bow stop. All things considered we got SUPER lucky to hit where we did and not jackknife.
Here is a picture of the hill, and the tree I slid backward into;

So, once I got it home I parked it at the base of our driveway (another very steep hill) and took it to a pole barn I've rented for the remainder of winter.
All uncovered, I'm so pumped with how good it looks!

Damn.... I just shed a tear....
Thankfully that's all it was.
Maybe look at it as an opportunity to.... Do a custom oversized wakeplate, make that SurfPlate, to replace the bent one?
lol - I'm just glad nobody was hurt - my 8 month pregnant wife being in the car and me having absolutely no control for 3 seconds was the most terrifying experience of my life. Boat can be fixed, people can't :)
shedding a tear with ya berg. at least you got the first ding out the way early. now wont be so frustrating in the spring when the first "bump at the dock" happens. great colors btw, really pops with the trailer

I hear ya. Did a backward slide down a snowy/icy hill for a couple hundred feet a few years ago with my two youngest in the back seat. Deciding between the cliff on one side or the ditch and some bodywork on the other was a non issue. Luckily we drove away almost unscratched.
Glad you, your wife and baby are all ok. Yep boat can be fixed, sux on the maiden travels, but I am quite sure it will be tip top before she hits the water.
Again great color combo...
Ian,
Let me know when you get ready to fix that. I am sure we got a few parts laying around to make that happen. So very sorry to see that. Glad all are fine. My email is [email protected], drop me a note or have wolfman...let me know what and where to ship it.
Rick
Wow. Glad to hear everyone is ok.
Impressed to see Moomba offer you the replacement parts. That's what it's all about.
