Went to Rinkers today and they said they wanted to help out with the shirts and really liked the design Cody came up with. They also tossed around the idea of bringing out a demo boat....

Anyone from LA coming? I would like to try to make this one.. my boat is in Mississippi and I am in Baton Rouge. but looks like this is only about 5 hours from me in BR.
Might be coming by myself with boat... unless i can drag up a few.
Just booked my room! So excited for this event.
Nice! I'm gonna warn you now that I will beg for a pull behind the 21
You got it! I wouldn't mind tryin out that 24.
We went out on the river today and from the hwy 19 bridge to the lake and clocked it at 8.9 miles. You can ride at least that far or farther up river on the other side of the bridge as water was awesome the whole way :-)

One question: what are the tees made of? Are they true to fit cotton? That will depend on me ordering a medium or large.
Ah hell, 1 large and one medium.
Cody should be able to answer that and berge, we will let you know who to make payment too once we order. It will either be cody or I since we are going to split the cost up front.
I played around with my navionics app today to get an idea of how much rideable area the river has and this is what I came up with. I am starting from the hwy 19 bridge since you cannot legally tow a rider under a bridge.
So from the hwy 19 bridge you can pull a rider for 8.9 miles down river without having to turn around before you actually make it into the lake.
You can also go upriver from the hwy 19 bridge for 14.7 miles without having to turn around before you encounter the next bridge (I've never been past the next bridge). So our total rideable area is 23 miles or so. Don't run out of gas

David
Put me down for 1 large and I am going to try to make it.
You need a check or PayPal?
Probably PayPal but wait until we actually order them. Hope to see you there

Thinking about joining your jam as a newbie, ive been on the river 1000 times but never over to that lodging area, how is the cut to get back to the main river? looks pretty slim on google maps.
its narrow, definitely cant get more than two wide and even then you only have about a yard separating yall. just have to take it at idle. Bethy Creek dredged and made that cut for people at the resort to have quicker river access. If you are nervous about it then the Hwy 19 launch is about 3-4 mile tow and it is right on the river but you have no dock. Last year when the water level dropped this was the only option for launching but I use the cut very regularly when at full pool and i have made it past other boats in the cut going the opposite direction. The channel is marked on the bethy creek side so just take it slow and stay in the markers until into the river and go through with your ballast drained.
Ok so the current list of attendees is as follows

Don't we have a potential Axis or two coming? I also know of a maybe on a Malibu 23 Lsv.
Well Matt was going to come but he just experienced a LisFranc injury on his right foot so I am not sure if he is still planning to come. If so yes he will be there in his A20 and we also have a guy named Brandon Miller who is coming in an A20 but I was only stating the Moombas and Supras on here since it is our jam.
I've got a potential conflict with the kid's schedules, so still a maybe on attending as well. But do put me down as a definite for a Large shirt. I'll touch base as the time nears...
Hey Dusty, any chance of some expert stereo tuning help for my meager system while there? Do you prefer Visa, Paypal, or beverages? :)
I'm no expert tuner that's for sure, but I'd be willing to bet some tweaking takes place! I can build it, but then I stand back and scratch my head! Mike, did you get the FB invite? If not, here is the event info and a place where you can make your shirt request.

I've been thinking hard about getting a smd distortion detector lately. If I do i'll bring it down with me.

I followed the thread on wakeworld, looks like a pretty valuable tool
I figure as much as I'm planning on changing my stereo in the next year or so, might as well, it's a lot cheaper than towing to have it tuned a couple times.
Back to the event. I'm so excited for it, a little over a month away.
For those of you who want a shirt and are unable to attend the event the cost may be $15 bucks to cover shipping fees. Just an FYI
In the final stages with the shirts and SC. Hope to have these printed by next week.
I will also be off work on the 10th and will be up at Bethy Creek as soon as possible that morning - if not the night before.
If anybody needs directions or help with anything, feel free to call me at (832) 495-9321.
Thanks,
Cody
