Yeah - same question. Washington requires contrast, although mine are white w/ light gray outline on metallic yellow. I've never been harassed but I think black on black would not fly.

No one has said anything yet. The original numbers were just black numbers and it was fine for 4 years the PO had. I felt like black on gray was enough of a contrast. He can make them in any color you like to make sure you get contrast against your boat color.
Awesome looking!.....and I do believe those numbers will "Live long and prosper" [emoji6]

I have had this fan for a couple of years, and for some reason it just dawned on me to carry it out on the boat this past weekend. It was a burner of a day with no wind. Man! All the difference in the world!!!! Especially when you are stopped for riders to swap out. The only problem is my wife turned it towards her one time. Now I am going to have to get another one if I ever want to use it again! Even matches my boat. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...aefd32d1dd.jpg

I've never thought of that but it's a great idea. Maybe even put it down at your feet pointing up to you while you're driving. Or better yet figure out a way to have a slight drip of water on to it and you have yourself a "mister". I believe some of the newer boats have that as an option. Oh how times have changed! LOL
Love the fan idea and I’m going to have to get me one. Not sure how I never thought of that lol.
Yea that black on black numbers would for sure get you stopped here on lakes the cops frequent. We added an ultra blue outline to our domed black letter so it adds some contrast. Likely not as much as the cops would like but it’s within the law here lol. Worse case they pull you over and just add some pin stripes around your letters to add contrast.

Oh I had it right underneath the wheel at my feet at first. Blowing straight up at my face as you mentioned. That's when my wife took notice and had me put it where she could feel it too. I may have accidentally kicked it and angled it my way a bit though! LOL. Kobalt actually makes a fan just like this Milwaukee that has some water misters and a little holding tank built into it. They would be a good color choice for that blue supra too!
