much easier than the ramp here at callville we use. it's a good half mile hike uphill from the waters edge to the upper parking lot. if not there before 9 you're in the upper. they have 2 guys in golf carts running shuttles all day long for tips. we guessed they are making around $50-60/hr all under the table. pretty good retirement gig...
Good representation!

If you want Boat Ramp entertainment, nothing beats this. The ramp is in the middle of town and you really need to block the road as you backup your trailer to get your boat out. Imagine the divorce rate at this ramp! You need to get in/out fast because the ramp is busy and you are blocking traffic.

Having been the embarrassed noob at the ramp before, I do try and help when I can. But only after getting all the entertainment value out of it! Twice this year I have helped people out. Once was a guy with a jet ski trailer who just could not keep from jack knifing it. After he was totally red and cussing so loud you could hear it on the water I asked him if I could back it up for him. The show him how to get them off, then where to park.
The other time I had to winch a guy up the ramp after he somehow got his trailer in the water but his truck stuck in the grass next to it. Still can't figure that one out.
