Picked the boat up today. We were very fortunate to not have any damage to the boat (not a single scratch) part of their roof was blown off and the subdivision across the street was mostly destroyed. They had the 2 transom straps sewn back on. She just needs a good bath inside and out. It was inline to be detailed when I picked it up. Figured id just do it myself. I asked the guy helping me about insurance. He said the dealerships insurance co would have taken care of any damage. Not sure if this is standard with all dealerships or not.
As I said earlier I did not buy the boat from aqua sportls marine. With all the damage to their shop and their boats by in large being heavily damaged (heavily debris falling on them, boats being blown into the adjacent lots) they did an excelled job making sure I was taken care of and that my boat was ok. I had a "learning experience" Mark on the bow from last summer that 2 different people came up and asked me about making sure that it was something that was previously there. Can't say enough about these guys.
