Sorry, just reread the thread and noticed that you already answered that question. I wish I knew more about audio/equipment. I need to do my homework to see how this will incorporate into what's in the boat already. Would be a nice Christmas gift to myself... (As if I don't find excuses for Christmas gifts to myself every month of the year.)

I have used this sub in my last 2 boats and it flat out rocks.
was pondering it for the gf's car but the amp I am repurposing isn't ideal for this impedance. I desire a 4ohm mono load.

if you're looking for a good sub this will fit the bill.
