That is one expensive azz mount...it is half the price of the EQ itself.
SO, I have the same dash and would like to get it just like that, but -- I swear mine isn't horizontal like it seems in that pic. Messing around I though it seemed you could put some backing or spacer material in there but it seemed like that would crack the dash over time? Moving left to right under the "cubby" and surf switch the bottom of my dash is sloping up.

I don't have any pics of the backside. It will still be a bit before I get back to the boat.
I was toying with the idea of using that real estate, but that is a big commitment to cut the fiberglass. When in that location, did you have trouble fitting the EQ with the rear inputs, etc. -- in between the inner cabin wall and the outer hull? My guess is that it a little tight?
