Docdrs, hopefully either the lake does not freeze or you have a permanent pier that is not affected by ice. my hoist with boat in it could get carried accross the lake and dropped with the ice and wind.

I have wood cribs supporting everything........pretty much a weekend expert on wood cribs imo. Lake freezes 2-3 feet thick

You mean I said all those prayers and stayed up all night for nothing? OH MAN!! Think of all the poor starving little kids that could have benefitted from my prayers. It's just so sad. Makes me want to do something productive like run out and put some new A/C on my boat or something.
