Though Drew's job also sounds a lot like my home life. :)
For the last 5 years I decided what products live and die as well as where they live on shelf for the world's largest salty snack maker.
As of a few weeks ago I've put away my Grim Reaper gown, and now work for the parent company leading the shelf thing for the chips as well as the beverages.
"I am a CPA/MBA and work as a Senior Accountant for Clark Public Utilities, the local public utility for electricity and water. And yes, we own the River Road Generating Plant that Newty works at... "
I've got a patent on some of the equipment you guys use. Don't go blaming me during the next power outage.
I am a civil estimator. I work for a company that builds roads, bridges, watermains, storm and sanitary sewers and wind farms. I put the bids/tenders together. I do a lot of math.
Newty's hypothesis:
"Since we own (or owned) Moombas, it's safe to say most of us are Blue collar working folk, or just a little smarter with our money."
I'd say that given the small sampling of replies, that Moomba owners are indeed educated folk and mostly are "white collar workers"
and we do know how to spend our dollars wisely.
How very good of you to point that out.
I'm a little surprised by the number of corporate jobs.
Besides that circus job, pretty well rounded group, IMO . I am a small business owner dabbling in investments, insurance and tax work..
