how do you have your fins setup? I've never really tried to spin my Nubstep.

quad set up, black sticks up front and the rear small DW quads in the rear, breaks loose real easy. I only got one quick set before all the wallys came out
Sure hope this helps me nail it.

It will... :) I checked those out at the store recently, almost the same as move cove board, not as light but the shape is very close...
For whatever reason I have had more success spinning a surf style board with ridiculous big and plentiful fins than I have had with single fin skims...

Yea, I don't understand it but lots of people can rip right around on those. I always feel too "locked in". Maybe it's cuz I have to be so far forward on them and you need to be more at the back.
From the lessons I had last year..
Looks like your trying to start the turn in the flats(and actually you turn the opposite way first) with no forward speed.
You need to come in with more speed(you come in and stop then turn) then turn up the wave, spin around and back down the wave..
Make sure to start pumping asap to help stay on the wave..
I can't seem to stop the spinning part, usually spin around a second time and lose the wave.
I haven't actually completed one where I can surf onto the next trick, so take with a grain of salt.. :)
Read an article the other day that this trick may be harder on the Moombas.
The Moomba surf wave is more of a downhill surf style wave with little push.
While the G23 I was taking lessons on the wave was more flat with lots of push, I could spin around 1-3 times and still be on the wave...
So I just need to pony up for a G23 and I'll nail it. Sweet! Better go check and see if that money tree out back is sprouting yet.
