Never heard of it or seen it in the wild. My only concern is that is does not offer adjustability. Once attached, cannot move forward/backward or up/down.
I never considered the lack of adjustment with that fixed location. Makes perfect sense. I'll keep my getto gate. It's just hard to get the suction cups to grab some days.
I guess if you have a consistent crew, it would not make a difference. I recall on my 2007 having to make slight adjustments if I had 3 vs 10 people on the boat. Transom sank deeper and usually had more peeps in the surf side.Quote:

Attached Velcro to the side of your boat. I think they used a big wedge that was similar to a plastic skateboard ramp. It was also mounted closer to the center of the boat vs closer to the transom.
