I purchased this boat basically with the understanding that the ballast tanks do not work. It turns out that I think they do, when I press the empty switch I hear the motors click on but when I hit fill I hear nothing. This is my first wake boat and I really know nothing about the ballast tanks. Does anyone know of a place in Indiana where I could take the boat to have it looked at?
Well if you have the original set up it’s probably just got the one fill pump. When you switch on the the drain that’s separate individual pumps. So you’ll have to see why the fill pump doesn’t activate. Maybe a fuse or something. The fill pump is usually located near the v-drive. If you have the sprinkler valve set up then you might want to ditch that system for a much more reliable upgrade. Plenty of threads here about that upgrade.
