What kind of noise? Mine ('05 LSV) makes a "whirring" noise when in neutral, and a much louder whine when in reverse. The dealer says there is nothing wrong......

How many hours on your boat.I have the same boat so am just wondering.Was the oil good.Thanks.

166hrs on the drive. It started to make a cluncking noise. Took it in to my dealor and the factory had them put a new one in. Out 0f 300+ boats that they have sold this is the first.
I had the unit service every year.
They shop guys think it is set from the factory to tight, it was very hard to turn compaired to the new unit.
Back in the water again.

I may have had a similar problem and mine turned out to be the trans. The trans would groan like it was slipping and I would have no power. Would only happen after it was warm. The trans kept lossing oil. The trans was replaced under warrenty and have not had any of the same issues since.
