Trying to change the oil in our Moomba. Got everything ready and the pump but having trouble finding Oil Drain Hose? I know we can put the oil extractor tube down into the oil checker hose, but I was trying to use the low point as referenced in Al's winterization post.
Any Help?
It's usually clipped up towards the top on one of the lifting rings.
Should the oil drain hose start on the same side as the dipstick? Its not one of the hoses feeding the filter right? Those look to have copper screw in adapters like Als winterization procedure post.
Sorry, I was over there helping my buddy and we could not find this hose. I didnt even eat the burgers on the grill or finish my cool coozie covered Coors light.
I went home in shame. ......Any ideas?
Look under the engine as if you are looking for the oil drain plug on a car engine. It will be on the lowest point of the oil pan. You should see a rubber hose connected to a fitting where the oil drain plug would normally be. Follow that hose and there you go.
Fisherbikes, if yours is like mine there is NO oil drain hose. I bought one from Overton's and installed it myself. Was a BE-otch to install! If you find yourself in the same situation, let me know and I'll give you some pointers.
Isn't it the hose that has the silver clip on the closed copper end? I went out and looked on my 2005 LSV and it said fuel vapor SAE30 and some other gibberish on the hose.Quote:

I think someone (maybe Jesse, Razz or Tazz) posted that they use either needle nose vice grips and/or 2 paint can openers on either side of the impeller to pry it out.Quote:
