Reverse engagment noise
Just took my 2020 craz out for the first time. Shifting into reverse you hear a noticeable engagement sound unless you really feather the throttle. Coming from a 07 nautique which was super quiet and just want to make sure this is normal. Anyone have a video of their Moomba shifting into reverse?

If you are speaking of a “clunk” when engaging reverse, that is normal.

mine does it as well. kind of annoying but i think it is normal.

It you’re talking about the clunk and whine noise then yes it’s normal. Go to around the 1:22 mark in my video where I put it in reverse a few times while docking.

I did not hear a clunking noise, but perhaps my 50 y/o ears aren't as sharp as they used to be. Presbycusis, damn you.

You can hear it better at 1:36 mark.
