What model, exactly, are you referring to?

I'm with Bruce. It's "OK" but nothing like a direct drive dedicated ski boat.
I agree - have the LSV and skiing is about the same as my old Outboard. Above 31 it is nice, 28-30 is a taller bump. wakeplate 90% down, as little weight in the boat as possible, and move some up front.
If you are recreational to intermediate - you will love the constant quality pull, if you are intermediate to advanced - trade ski rides with a DD when they want to wakeboard or wakesurf.

I looked at a Moobus, but couldn't afford it.
I havn't skiied behind the LSV but I have skiied behind my XLV... Wake is ok, you got bend the knees alot coming across but its definetly doable if you dont have anything else.
Thats why my neighbors got the 89 supra
Does Skiers Choice still make an AWSA approved boat for slalom ? My 99 Mobius has an AWSA logo on the side. Wake is pretty nice at 35 off at 34 mph

"A true AWSA tournament qualified waterski boat, the Outback continues its tradition of reliable performance at an incredibly attractive price. This year's Outback features... "
All the other hulls are wakeboard hulls.
