04OUTBACK, I have a quick question as I see you also have a 2011 21V. Have you noticed your gas needle to be inaccurate after about half a tank? What I mean by this is that after about half a tank the boat blows through the rest of the gas. If you have experienced this, what did you do to fix it, if not, then maybe I need to look into it a little more.

I do have another question. I saw your pics of where you updated your decals. How did you get the old ones off with out damaging the hull or gel coat? How did you get the new ones straight? Did you purchase the new ones through Moomba? How much were they? I'd love to do that to mine, I just don't want to mess the boat up........

I appreciate the comment on the packing in my 06 LSV. I do have a quick question or two. How did you get access to the packing and jam nut. Did you lower the side wall in the engine compartment or go through the v-drive cover? It seems tough to reach...... I called the Moomba dealer in Dothan this morning on pricing for packing. They haven't called me back. I'll probably just call skidim.......

They usually wait until after the 4th to start the drawdown, but said they would have it finished by July 15 this time. Don't know what the big hurry is. From what I understand the fishermen think it's great. I could care less about fishing and I guess they could care less about wakeboarding. Anyhow, we are going to try and make it down at least once this year since it's only an hour and half away.

seems like fall or spring would be a better time.. what do I know?

They drain it about once every 5 years or so in order for people to make repairs to the seawalls and the Game & Fish plant millet for the fish habitat. Pretty much ruins the summer when they do that. I don't feel so bad for myself but have a friend that just bought an LSV and have not even taken delivery of it yet and now is only going to get partial summer's use of it.

Eagle Is GREAT. It is a lot like Chicot. it would be pretty easy for you to get to... cross the river come down Hwy 1 and switch over to 61.. there is a northern road you can take to Eagle or come further down and come in on 465. I have 2 good friends with Mastercrafts over there.. 1 has a great pier and boat ramp the other has a house on the lake. we are out there a pretty good bit... Outside of North or NW winds we can find some decent riding water most of the time.. High banks protect it. There are a handful of wakeboarders out there. When there are idiots out there, it is usually possible to get away from them. Make plans to join us out there! There is a place that rents a big house and some small cabins (Eagle Lake Lodge www.eaglelakeldgout.com ) I have stayed in the big house and have a small cabin reserved memorial day weekend.. I hear Bruin is great too.
Give me a shout some time and come on down. I love it. I have a 33000 ac reservoir and river real close to me (Ross Barnett and Pearl River) but we like Eagle so much better we'll drive 1hr 20 to it!
That stinks that they are draining Chicot.. what's the deal?
