I am planning on adding a table to my mobius xlv. I have found plenty of tables that mount on the floor, but I am looking for one that mounts on a side surface. I have seen some nautiques with removable tables that have a 90 degree pedistal that mounts on the side right beneath the seat cushions. Does anyone know where to get a side mount table kit?

Here is a link to what I am looking for: (look at the top right picture)

That's one thing i don't want, it's just something else i'll have to find a place for when not in use.

Razz, if you don't have a table were do you serve lunch off the grill at. I can't imagine a boat without a Magma grill. Here is the one on my boat. http://www.magmaproducts.com/Products/Marine_Products/Gas_Barbeque_2/Charcoal_BBQ/charcoal_bbq.html

This allows me to bypass our new "no artificial wake enhancing devices" on our local river. I can pack a half of a beef in the lockers and tell the LEO's that the meat is for lunch on the grill and when they see my stealth body they will understand why I need 750 pounds of meat, to grill of course.

Ditto!! I have enough stuff to bring when we drag all the COLD sandwiches, beverages, and all the play gear.
Pontoons are just a floating deck or patio and perfect for grillin :) When I HAVE to grill or sit at a table - I'm going pontoon!

The grill is something I have thought a lot about here lately. For those of you that have them, how much of a mess are they?

That really is the only part that I can see that is negative. Being able to grill out on the water for me would be key. I love my burgers. :)

But then again, I guess it isnt very hard to get to a small island and set a small grill up. Although it would be a pain to gather everything on a float and swim it to the shore.

you need this grill to carry ashore...

folded up:

assembled & in use:

Now that is a small grill. Where do I plug in the propane? :)

I like that table, I could mount it on the back of my Outback over the swim platform. That way the kids could keep the mess out back where it belongs:)

However as Razz and others have pointed out, just another thing to store. As for the pontoon, that's our next purchase for out at the lake. Park it in a nice bay and tie the ski/wakeboard boats up to it and go from there.

I talked to my local nautique dealer and the table in the picture on the nautique website is $995 plus $20 shipping. I found this table mount on ebay for $80 shipped.

and this table top for $70 shipped.

It's pretty cool how the bracket mounts. You can get multiple mounting brackets to mount the table inside the boat and you can also have a mounting bracket on the back of your boat if you want the table there.

Also, here is a link to a video that shows how the mount is used:

Ill post pictures after the install.

I'll have to admit - I was a skeptic. Like how it turned out and would consider it myself (if I had a v-drive). Not very practical on a DD though!!

Can I ask why one can not put the table in the Moomba like a Wakesetter or Mastercraft? They have teh hole n the floor that the pole goes in like an RV.

I won't let anyone bring anything but water on the boat. A bbq would make my head explode
