does a 99 outback have a MDC module?

I have posted previously about my gauges not working. I crawled under the boat this weekend and did not find a MDC module. I followed the tube from the speedo and it ran straight to the back of the boat. Just curious....

the mdc unit on my 99 was on the panel infront of the drivers feet above the. the 2 speeedo lines ran into it. thes eline should be disconnected in the winter and some even go as far as to remove the mdc and store it inside during tthe winter
