hope they sound better than the db651's I was going to buy.
now on the hunt for tower speakers.

thinking of the bulletlines hlcd 6.5's. seen some good things about them and bet they sound nice at distance..

don't have a real issue with the polks. these just seem to have some better specs and look to be a better speaker. got them for around $85/pr with shipping so for just a few $$ more, what I am hoping is a better speaker.

I'll let you know how they sound once I get them installed. probably won't be until the end of october. going to use these 6 to replace all the in-boat speakers.
think I'm going to suck it up and order the bullet hlcd speakers for the tower. have read up on the difference in hlcd and regular car speakers for the tower and seems that it will be worth the few extra $$ for them..
I do remember back in my old car audio days there was a company making a speaker called a waveguide that cleaned up on the circuit for years and were basically the same principle as the hlcd drivers.
