I have an '01 MobiusV with the older style Rad-A-Cage tower. Two allen bolts on the front arms hold the tower to the hull brackets, two bolts with a plastic knob/handle hold it to the brackets in the rear so it can be unscrewed easily by hand and rock forward to lay down over the front of the boat.

Well, I just broke one of the bolts with the plastic knob/handle. I have to lower my tower every time I back in my boat after a day on the river so I definitely need the knob for quick up and down.

Anyone know where I can pickup a replacement or if it is going to have to be a special order?

I am not sure what the part number/supplier is for this tower.
I would look here and see if you can match diameter and thread type.

Hey you gave me an idea, some small diameter wire lanyards for the knobs!
We make them all the time for the Navy stuff we design just for the exact same reason!

Yep, guess it is pretty common as its a dealer item - Just got one (and a spare). Only $12 ea.

I thought about the lanyard as well but just one more little loop hanging out that could get snagged up on something. I'm already a little leery about my stereo wiring loom that loops out a little before entering the tower. Haven't snagged it yet but I could see it happening some day.

How about a hollow or foam filled floating knob?

One that glows in the dark so you can find it when you dive down?
