03 Mob LSV; Replace Belt?

Any tips on replacing the alternator belt on my '03 Mobius LSV? There is a bracket on the left side that attaches to (through?) the bottom of the impeller housing, and we can't figure out how to get the belt around it

You have to remove that bracket and the water hoses from the pump to get the belt around the pulley.

Yes, but how does the bracket come off? Does it detach from the impellar housing somehow, or the other end?
