I have been having issues with a vibration, just took to dealer and they replaced my prop. Said Moomba sent out a letter a few months ago that some Mobius are having this problem. Has anyone out there heard of this ? And the prop they are using won't have the same pull/start (don't know pitch yet), but assures me that I probably won't know the diff.

Anyone out there heard of this ?

I didn't get any letters. What speed are the vibrations? Do they go away after a certain speed?

I know my boat vibrates a bit up till about 8 and its real noisy sounding like something under the boat is lose or something. At 8mph it goes away and its smooth again. Its my prop from what i understand and its indictive of the type of prop that my boat came with.

Yes have heard this. Check out new prop with it's manufacture and see if it indeed will fit your needs.

The OJ prop will make a noise. Nothing is wrong, just a little noisy. Switch to the acme prop that moomba recommends for the LSV now. I don't have the numbers in front of me but it's something like 13.5x16.

I have a 08 lsv with a vibration from about 2300 rpm up to 2800 rpm and then it goes away. I love the hole shot and the top in of the prop that is on it now, it is an oj 14.25x16 with a 95 cup. Have been living with it this season for now. A freind of mine has the same year and model of boat and he had the same problem. They sent him oj 13.5 x 16 with .135 cup prop #1161 it lost alot of the hole shot and about 6-7mph on the top end. Talking with the dealer next year I am going to try an acme prop #1433 it is 14.0x14.25 with 105 cup. It is very close to the oj 14.25x16 with 95 cup that is on it now so hopefully it will pull the same and have the same top end but no vibration.

My '07 LSV along with many others on this forum have the 14x14.25 OJ "wakeboard prop". Now i don't know what the pitch is but this prop growls on takeoff, don't know that i'd classify it as a vibration though.. Doesn't bother me one bit as the holeshot is great and still has a good topend if needed.

You know the pitch, it's the cup you don't know :)

Thanks Everyone, sound like a common issue. The vibration (growl) happened at takeoff.

Will report back the results when I get back in the water with new prop.
