My paint on the swim platform on one side is fading a little. Is there anything that will bring back the finish?

What your probably seeing is oxidation of the gelcoat. There are many products for marine use that specialize in removing oxidation. Oxidation is chaulking of the surface from sun exposure usually. Or you can try rubbing compound used gently followed by polishing compound then wax. You should see a remarkable difference.
