Russ wilde is coming back through the Northeast( midwest is probably a little slow)and I have signed up to learn how to wakesurf this sunday.

Any tips i should prepare for.

This may be a very expensive lesson, since i only have gravity i on my OBV 07 and will probably have to upgrade if i like this sport:)

upgrades....

start with balast bag and pump--will get tired of this so..
gravity 3 upgrade--will get tired of waiting for bags to fill, so...
modify gravity 3 for speed, but...
will want larger wave so...
upgrade boat--bigger,heavier..
so NEW boat...
bigger ballast bags added..
then theres the boards...
biginer, that you grow tired of...
new board-more advanced that wont fit the racks, so...
new racks for new boat to fit new board--

all because you took lessons to surf a wave that never ends:rolleyes:

Ed,

Russ says Hello. He wants to see your wakekite pics on the BB. ( too cold up here for Russ LOL to get him in the water)

Well I think we are hooked, what a blast this was. First time got right up and in the curl on the Obrien Alias 5.0., the other three went girls on the 4'6" Obrienn alais TT and they did great. our fourth rider got to drop the rope second try for about 1000 yards( awesome). I switched (second ride in the lesson) boards to Russ's 5.0ft Alias TT and dropped the rope and rode the curl for about 500ft. Almost rode onto the platform:confused:. Too bad my friend figured out the video part of the camera after i rode ropless.:D
