Hi

I'm looking for a 2007 Outback V (800h) with the 340 Cat. Engine, Grav-I Ballast, Tower, Bimini, Stereo, Boardracks...

Are you happy with the "old" Outback V? Is there something special i should check?

Main use would be: Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Waterski..

is there a PDF from the 2007 Brochure to download?

Cheers, KTM525

I love our OBV we have the gravity I, you will need gravity iii to surf or a couple of big friends to park in the corners. 800 hrs seems like a ton of hrs i would check the maintenance records. we bought are 07 in 08 and live up north so a short season but we only have 100hrs.

If you go to the archive section on this site you should be able to pull some information

As much as I love my boat, I wish I would have bought an LSV.

I lost count how many times I drunked the front end over big wakes.

the lsv is tough to slalom behind, throws a big wake.... but yes you have to watch for rollers.

The outback v is great all around boat it does everything I need it to just fine!!! taking rollers over the bow is driver error most of the time gas it and the nose will go over the wave fine

We wakesurf, ski, and wakeboard all the time I really like it alot, but make sure you get a wakeplate for skiing and wakesurfing to adjust the wake as needed

I agree with JV, 800 hrs seems really high for a max 2 1/2 season boat.

800 hours is alot of hours. Check the maintenance on the boat. They have been putting on about 320 hours a year for the boat. That is great use of the boat but i would buy a boat with that many hours on it at all. Just my 2c.

I have a 2007 OBV, and I really like the boat. I would have bought an LSV, but my lake has length restrictions (which I already exceed), so it wasn't an option. I don't have the wakeplate, but it throws a surfable wake with a 750 lb fat sac, a decent wakeboard wake, and I've pulled a slalom skiier that was pleasantly surprised with the ski wake.

800 hours seems like an awful lot. I'd get a compression test before going any deeper into that transaction.

I'm very happy with my 08 OBV so far- I like to both ski and wakeboard and it makes a nice wake for both; skied behind a Tige Z 21 this past week and man was it rough. Also- even though I'm told "Tige makes a dry boat" we took rollers over the bow several times until I got used to driving it backing the "driver error" theory
