Loose hand rail, and other stuff

Hey guys we just got back from a Lake Powell trip and I have some minor adjustments to make wondering if anyone has any pointers. One of the hand rails on the bow has started to come loose. How do you get to the underside of the rail to tighten it? My depth finder is acting goofy also. I believe it has a short in the cord coming from the transmiter to the gauge. I have tried to get into the gauge to tighten the connection but cannot figure out how to get inside of it. Is this possible or am I looking a new depth finder? Any help would be appreciated.

Is this boat under warrenty? If so get the dealer to do it. IF not, yeah the handrail tightens fron completely underneath. Depth gauge can be check at the dash but no wires to check at the puck itself.
