A big THANK YOU to Ultimate Wake Watersports for hosting the Third Annual Chicagoland Moomba/Supra Owners Reunion.

This year's event was held at Fox River Forest Preserve and Marina in Lake Barrington, Illinois. Wonderful launch and slip facilities, with plenty of parking space. Weather cooperated with blue skies and a nice breeze.

Ultimate Wake reserved a private wooded area next to the marina for lunch, and put together a great bar-b-que of burgers, dogs, and brats with all the fixins'. Plenty of food for everyone.

Man, did I get lucky by pulling down a wakeskate. Extra thank you to Ultimate Wake!

Maybe a dozen boats and about fifty revelers from at least three states: Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.

Big prize of the day was a surfboard. To be in the running you had to compete in the belly flop contest. Guys and gals wanted this one bad. Got down to three finalists. In the end the crowd picked young Sled Junior the winner. Congrats to all!

Looks like it was a great time. I don't know about belly flopping for a surf board. Ouch.

Deerfield, great pics! Trent has not stopped telling everyone his story yet:). Great hanging out with you and your family yesterday, almost didn't even have to bring my boat I spent so much time on yours:)

Thanks Chicago Sea Ray, top notch event, great eats. Way to make the best of a bad economy!

Finally catching up on these posts. Looks like a great time. Glad dealers understand these events can be done on a reasonable budget. And finally, OOOUUUUUUUUCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! No Way I'm Winning A Board There!

In the Midwest you need to man to be in the game :) Notice I sent my 7 yr old to participate while stayed on the side lines!
