03 Moomba Outback LS Ballast Tank

I have an 03 Moomba Outback LS. Has anyone ever plumbed the factory plastic ballast tank under the back seat?? What has everyone used?? I was thinking of just a easy pump that I could tose in the water and didn't have to make any new holes in the boat. Thanks

I hate to revive an old thread but did this ever get done? I am curios as to what size the fittings need to be. I would look but don't have my boat handy at the moment and I'm being impatient lol
