Hello everyone! I just thought I would share what I have done with my wave. I installed another 12v outlet in the back rear compartment of my boat and added another 900lbs fat sac to the stock 550lbs. I run my Perfect Pass at 9.5mph with the wakeplate all the way up. I am 5'10" and it hits me in the shoulders. I leave every other sac completely empty.

Have fun!

What boat do you have? Got any pics of this 5 foot wave? Would love to see it.

Yeah i'd like to see it too. A five foot wave is all fine and dandy but how far back does it extend? How many peeps? How and where did you add that extra 900lbs?

Hey Al! What's up?

Hey guys,

I have many pics....but they are too big to attach to these posts. If you send me your email address, I will shoot you pictures, the wave goes back probably ten feet and has an absolute perfect curl to it. I will also be posting a few videos on youtube later this weekend from home. If there is a way to reduce the file size I have around 15 pictures of my budy riding the wave and he is 6'4".

So where do you put the 550 and the 900? They don't both fit in one rear locker.

Hey Razz,

Looks like I just asked the same question you did about where he put the sacs. I got the loft mostly done so finally got the boat out for the first time this year last week. Pretty pathetic, I know.

Hope you are having a great summer.

Al

Having a 5 foot wakesurf would ALMOST be as good as regular surfing...Actually now that I think about it, it's probably even better because it's endless :D

IMO Nothing beats real surf. It's just a completely different game.

I have been patiently waiting to see pics of this 5 foot wave...where is it? I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd post that states a person has created a 5 foot wave. Just curious to see it now.

No doubt! I actually had a pretty massive wake going behind the OutbackV last night. Managed to get 10 adults in the boat with my center ballast full. I would estimate the wake at about 3.5 - 4ft high. It was absolutley the best wave I have been able to create so far.

Next time I would experiment with putting a couple of bodies up in the bow to see if it would have made the wave longer. Good fun though!

Of course, no one thought to take a picture cause we were having so much fun.

Use image shack or something like to resize the pics to fit. I would also love to see this 5 ft wave. That would be just awsum to surf with:)

i fill mine pretty much the same. about 1000lbs in the corner and none anywhere else. i set the pp at 11.7 and adjust the wakeplate depending on how many people are in the boat, wind, etc. usually about 3/4 up. wave is pretty big but i still want it bigger and longer! more weight prob...
