does anyone know who makes the plate? where i can purchase other than the dealer? or would i have to purchase the entire set up that mounts to the transom (pistons, mount & plate)? I have a 2008 outback v.

so we were on the way back to the marina when we heard a thud from running over something submerged. put the boat on the trailer and the wake plate was missing (just the plate); no damage to the boat, propeller, rudder, scags or the swim platform.

the two pistons are there and the wake plate mount that screws to the bottom of the transom is there. only possible damage i see is to the pistions, if it is damage, is the plastic tip of the piston that holds the plate to it. i'll try to get a pic posted this evening.

Your owners manual should have the warranty book from Bennets.

Bennett Marine Inc
550 Jim Moran Blvd
Deerfield Beach, FL 33442
954-427-1400

It has a 5 and 3 yr warranty.

thanks dude! i'll check to see if they have a web site.

my owners manual talks about the wake plate but doesn't give an additional info. i'm going to call the dealer to see if forgot to give me any paperwork.
