This is a thread where we can ALL share our pics. Hopefully will be a good pic resource if we can get everyone to throw in a pic or two.

We just picked up our 02' OBLS this weekend. We love it so far. It's all stock but wont be that way for long. The gel and the vinyl are both MINT and its only pushing 200 hours. We ordered a SeaDek (thanks Chuck!) and are ordering a tower sometime this weekend. We're looking at two of the Aerial Towers as well as the Big Air "Vapor" tower. We'll be ordering racks and tower speakers. Plans are for a dual battery set up, a sub and later in the summer starting to work on the ballast issue. Also going to get new graphics for the side. Any advice on where to look? I only find generic junk on E-Bay.

Post your pics! Sorry for the terrible pics - we only had our cell camera with and this was our first night out.

I was just saying the exact same thing.

I still cant get over how you have to launch. I was showing Claudia this and she said good thing we don't have to back our truck into the water that fare, maybe the back tires in a little, she said she would freak to have the entire truck in the water.

I know of about 3 other moombas boats (don't know the owners) in the lake wausau area. Minoqua is about 1.5 hr north of here. There is also a dealer in Fremont, WI which is about 1 hr from wausau.

Sick boat 501. You should toy with moving the weight around in the boat - looks a little washed out on the right side and you can typically clean that right up just shifting the water weight around.

Wish I had a newer Mobius. :( Someday..

Nice rig!

Thanks Jeff, I love the boat and with the 2700lbs the wake is size large.

With this boat and only one person driving (I was driving and taking photos at the same time but it was 10pm at night and not another boat on the water), when you cut out to one side and cut in to hit the wake, the opposite wake gets a bit washy, but as soon as the rider is on that side of the wake it cleans right up. The washy wake is kinda soft for landing on which is nice. With no one riding the wake is also a lot cleaner.

Well, the temp at swan lake was cool , I didn't take the temp but around 70 deg maybe? The other lakes we went to there were warmer actually. I have a dry suit anyway so that helps .I wore it one time on the trip and sweated in it . Yearround , I actually use pipe wrap insulation on the tower and made bungy cord loops with a ring and a snap hook to hold it there. It works well even in rough water. I actually didn't ride it one time the whole trip. The water conditions were outstanding that all we did was wake board and surf!!
Jim .

Nope, no change in the wake. The whole thing weighs maybe 100 lbs total so it's no more than having an extra kid in the boat with their weight spread out. We skied it last night and it was excellence. My buddy was impressed with how well the boat tracked, the power to yank him out and the shallow wake at 32mph.

I paid about $950 shipped on the tower and installed it with a couple of buddies on a Saturday. Took about 6 hours.

Hey , My brother in law lives across the street from echo lake on the right side just when you can see the lake. They have a deck view of the lake. We spent 1 day on Flathead down by Finley point , and part of another day from sommers to lakeside to see an antique boat show. Most of the time it was swan lake.. no boat traffic and flat water. We didn't even take the boat to Bigfork bay . Where do you boat and live? Later , Jim.

Live in Billings and boat mostly at Yellowtail (Big Horn Recreation Area). You can enter from Hardin or Lovell, WY. About a 2 hr. drive from my house to the water. Also head up to a small dam which is about 50 minutes away but do that in the middle of the week when I can.
We took the boat up to Salmon Lake and Flathead early this year as well. The chain of lakes (Salmon, Seeley, Swan, and Flathead) is beautiful. Just a lot longer drive. Canyon Ferry near Helena is about 3 hrs. from home.
Wish I lived on water :-(

Used to have relatives that lived on Swan and my aunt lives up at Sommers.
Small world!

Yes it is small world. I moved here from Billings in 87. I have been going to Big horn lake for a long time . We stopped there for a couple of days this last August on our way to Flathead. We spent only 1 day on the lake , Monday and it was deserted. My good old friend , Bob Ludwick has a trailer there at fort smith . I thought about buying a place there a while back but decided not to . too far from here to manage. We just stay in our truck camper at his place. It has got to be one of the west's secret place to go boating . We went down to dry head creek and up the canyon and then back to black canyon. Absolutely flat water. Definitely stay in touch over the winter , we most likely will be back next summer.
Jim.
